Our Services
At BotaniPaws Spa, we provide gentle, professional grooming services in a calm, home-based environment. Whether your dog needs a full groom, a tidy-up, or a rewards-based introduction to grooming, our goal is to make the experience as low-stress and comfortable as possible.
Below, you’ll find details about the services we offer, what’s included in each session, and how to book. We focus on quality over quantity, taking the time to give each dog the care and attention they deserve.
All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations, or show proof titre testing. Puppies are welcome after their 2nd puppy vaccinations.

Extras & Surcharges
Matt removal carries with it an additional surcharge of $10-$40 to cover wear and tear on equipment.
Otherwise, grooming costs are based on the time it takes. If your dog’s groom runs longer due to coat condition, behaviour, or extra styling, the cost will reflect that additional time.
Ear plucking, sensitive-skin products & epsom salt foot baths are included at no additional cost because we believe every dog deserves a comfortable, high-quality groom.
More information
During their time here, dogs are given regular breaks, treats (with your permission), rest time, and plenty of gentle handling and cuddles. I work at a pace that suits each individual dog and never rush through appointments. If your dog needs a little extra time or reassurance, that’s perfectly okay.
I will not force a dog through procedures that creates panic. Instead, I may recommend splitting grooms into shorter sessions or taking a slow, desensitisation-based approach if needed.
If a dog is heavily matted or their coat is beyond safe brushing, I will recommend shaving for comfort. Mats can cause pain, skin issues, and distress - removing them quickly and humanely is the kindest option.
I do not offer walk-in services like quick nail trims, as I want to ensure every dog gets the quiet, focused attention they need. My grooming space is home-based, calm, and low-volume, perfect for dogs who find busy salons overwhelming.
About Meet and Greets
All dogs are able to come for a meet and greet visit for free. These are usually 10-20 minutes and the goal is for me to create a positive association with myself and the spa. We don't do any grooming or anything invasive. Bring a toy, their favourite treats, and some gumboots in case we want to go for a wander through the fields.
Do you offer grooming services to large and giant breeds?
Yes. The cost of all grooms is based on the time it takes to complete. Large/giant and heavy coated dogs may take upwards of 3 hours to bath/blow dry or de-shed.
Do you offer grooming services to labradoodles, moodles, cobberdogs, goldendoodles etc.
Yes.
Do you do hand-stripping?
No.
